New Orleans, LA–Jason Berry’s acclaimed film “City of A Million Dreams” had a New Orleans screening as a part of a presentation at Museum of The Southern Jewish Experience, on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 6 pm. The museum is located at 818 Howard Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70114. A live discussion followed this screening with Jason Berry at 7:30 pm.
Jason Berry also signed copies of his book, City of A Million Dreams, a tricentennial history of the city of New Orleans.
The Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience explores the many ways that Jews in the American South influenced and were influenced by the distinct cultural heritage of their new homes. Through exhibits, collections and programs focused on the unique and remarkable history of Southern Jews, the Museum encourages new understanding and appreciation for identity, diversity, and acceptance.
