Congratulations to JJA member Jason Berry on his well-received NOLA documentary, “City of A Million Dreams.”

Berry explains, “This is our fifth festival since we finished the film in May; each one has had streaming windows, allowing people to watch virtually because of Covid. We don’t have a distribution deal as yet. Indy docs typically follow a path of festival and outreach screenings to generate reviews that lead to a deal with a streaming or broadcast outlet. Right now because of Covid there’s a huge bottleneck in films competing for festivals, and the attention of distributors.”
